This package concept is a redesign for the Mountain Safety Research Superfly compact canister stove, a backcountry camp stove.
My goals through this redesign was to clearly communicate both the form and function of the stove immediately from the first encounter with the package, while also appealing to a more environmentally conscious target user. As a user of this product, I identified a few main issues with the packaging design throughout my own experience.
